Billie Eilish slayed at the Grammys. Now, the next frontier for the young singer is the Academy Awards, which she is already booked to perform for.

In a report by news website Daily Mail UK, Billie’s performance will be a little different. In the past, Oscars performers were those who were nominated for an Original Song award. Billie doesn’t have one, but she was still chosen to perform, effectively putting her at the same level as Elton John and Randy Newman.

As the youngest artist to win big at the 92nd Grammys, her star shines ever brighter. She bagged four major awards at the Grammys: Song of the Year, Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best New Artist. She also won the Best Pop Vocal Album award.

Decked out in customized Gucci, Billie attended the awards with her brother, Finneas O’Connell, who she has been making music with since she broke out. Finneas also slayed at the Grammys himself, winning Producer of the Year, Non Classical, and Best Engineered Album, Non Classical.

Billie’s performing at the Oscars is a surprise, to say the least, but the poster is already out and it can only go up for Billie from here.

She’s already been asked to perform a theme song from the 25th movie in the James Bond franchise, “No Time To Die.” The movie is yet to be released, but if Billie’s upward trajectory continues, it’s likely that her soundtrack work for James Bond might even be nominated.

If that happens, she’ll also join the ranks of Adele and Sam Smith, whose own James Bond theme songs won in 2013, and 2015 respectively.

Billie will be joined by Questlove, a musician and music journalist. Eimear Noone will also be there, the first woman who will be conducting a 42-piece orchestra during the Oscars telecast.
