Man’s Red Lobster Rant Goes Viral

There are some dishes we like so much that we can’t live without them. Recently, a woman’s post about a guy she was dating went viral when she shared the complete meltdown he had after she told him that she can’t afford to treat him to Red Lobster.

In an article by Too Fab, a resource for entertainment news for TV, movies, music, and celeb fashion, the conversation that Teonna Robles shared featured her talking to a guy she was seeing. In her screenshots, you can see the slow descent of his meltdown when Robles offered to cook for him because she couldn't afford to buy him a meal at Red Lobster for now.

But the guy didn’t want that.

In the epic meltdown, the guy told Robles not to “play a position you not fit for,” presumably talking down on Robles’ effort to just offer him a home-cooked food instead of take-out. He also proceeds to tell her that she is “clearly not on my level and can’t afford to support a man of my caliber.”

After that, Robles held back on replying, but the man seemed adamant to continue his rants, consistently insulting Robles' financial situation and comparing her to other women who have bought him Red Lobster for dinner before.

In one message, he even touted himself as a “King,” saying:

“Any woman who would expect a king to lower his standards just because it’s coming from her is delusional. My quality of life will not decrease because you want me to be grateful for less than I deserve as hard as I work. You saying you’re not my b*tch like that’s not your intention is funny. You can’t handle the top position so don’t apply for the job. Stay moping the floors.”

The tantrum went viral so fast that even Chrissy Teigen had to weigh in. In a hilarious response, she said, “This man had Red Lobster 4 days a week for a year. He has mercury poisoning.”
