A Family Put in a Baby Monitor -- And Got Spooked by Their Own Son

Babies are adorable.

They fall all over themselves on jelly legs, just beginning to learn to walk. They blubber and oversimplify their parents’ and siblings’ names with the most basic letters they know and it’s all so adorable.

Except mother Elise Bannister had a slightly different experience after buying a VTech baby monitor she had intended to install so she could keep an eye on her baby. In a now-viral post on Twitter, the baby can be seen looking “like a doll lying in his crib, but his eyes are wide open and glowing with a blue light that makes the infant look like he’s possessed.”

In a report by Today.com, a news program that informs, entertains, and entertains, Bannister shared that she did not expect so many people to find the post to blow up after originally just sending her to a couple of her friends.

But how did this picture come about? Well, according to Bannister, the picture was such a surprise when they saw it, but that it was “hilariously creepy” either way.

Bannister told Today, “When I first started it up and saw that Finn was just silently staring at the camera like something from a low-budget horror movie I absolutely lost it laughing. It was hilariously creepy. I initially took the picture to share with a group chat of friends. I had no idea it would go this far!”

And it did go very far! When Sunday night rolled around, the tweet already had about 406,000 likes and 82,000 retweets and about 86,000 hilarious comments. Users have drummed up various dialogue to go with the picture, while some parents who also had VTechs shared their own children looking like baby Finn.

User Jeff Louella shared their young one shrouded in a blanket staring at the camera, while another, Kathryn, shared an almost similar photo, with her child staring into the camera with a pacifier in their mouth and sporting the same creepy eyes.
