It’s now just a mere month before the release of “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker,” and fans are now more than excited, eagerly waiting for how the fate of the rebels will turn out now that Palpatine is back. The conclusion of the Skywalker saga is also making a lot of fans from different parts of the world to wonder what will be in store for the galaxy far, far, away once the war is over even without knowing whether the Dark Side is truly defeated or not.

Will the balance in the galaxy be restored? Will there be Grey Jedis? What will happen to Kylo Ren and Rey? These questions will certainly be answered once the movie launches in cinemas on December 19. But before that happens, toymakers are already cashing in on the franchise’s popularity and the excitement over the movie that will mark the end of the Skywalker saga as they have come up with a lot of toys and action figures that both casual fans and collectors are sure to like. But, which ones are worthy enough to part with your hard-end cash? Here are some of them.

Star Wars Black Series Action Figures

Hasbro remains one of the leading toy companies that sell Star Wars merchandise. For their latest offering, the company recently announced the “Star Wars: The Black Series,” their latest toy line that includes action figures, vehicles, Force FX lightsabers, and collectible items that are in line with the upcoming Star Wars movie.

Geek Culture, a website that provides articles about pop culture, reported that aside from the characters featured in the latest Star Wars movie, the toy line also includes characters from the upcoming Disney+ series, “The Mandalorian” and the upcoming action-adventure video game from EA and Respawn Entertainment, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

The main characters in the new Star Wars trilogy, Supreme Leader Kylo Ren and the scavenger-turned-Jedi in training Rey, are included in the Black Series action figure collections. Both of them come with updated clothing and weapons.

The Rey action figure comes with the blue lightsaber, which came from Luke Skywalker. It is also accompanied by D-O, a droid that befriended the Resistance after the Battle of Crait. Meanwhile, Kylo Ren is now adorned with his damaged helmet from which the angry red Force seeps between the cracks.

Boba Fett Action Figure

For those who have seen Han Solo trapped in carbonite, it might be ironic to see Boba Fett enclosed in a glass-like prison similar to the one he helped stuck Solo in. This 3.75-inch Boba Fett action figure is much more valuable because it could sell for more than $250,000 in two weeks.

According to a report by USA Today, a multi-platform news and information media company, this action figure is considered as the “Holy Grail of ‘Star Wars’ toys. The Boba Fett action figure is the 1970 Boba Fett J-slot rocket-firing prototype, which was a legendary loot for die-hard Star Wars fans and action figure collectors.

This action figure is valued so much because it was the final portion of a prototype created by the Cincinnati-based Kenner Toys, the lone developer of Star Wars action figures in the past. Boba Fett’s character is also an integral part of the Star Wars folklore because the bounty hunter has inspired a lot of theories inside the fandom for the last 40 years.

Ultimate D-O Interactive Droid

With every new Star Wars movie, it is expected that there will be new droids to be added to the story. Before it was the quirky BB-8, and now, the “Rise of Skywalker” offers D-O. CNET, an American media website, explained that this droid is created out of spare parts and becomes friends with BB-8.

Launched by Hasbro, the interactive toy has a movable head and antennas, self-balancing wheel, LED eyes, and sound effects. What makes it even more exciting is that owners can control their droid using an app on their smartphone.

Mandalorian Drinking Glasses

Even in a galaxy far, far, away, drinking remains a favorite past time for scruffy Nerf herders and bounty hunters. If you’re planning for a Star Wars-themed party right at your place, best to have these Mandalorian glasses produced by Zazzle. Aside from these, you can also order keychains, yoga mats, notebooks, stickers, posters, and tumblers that are all inspired by the upcoming “Mandalorian” TV series.

The Millennium Falcon Lego Set

The Millennium Falcon is one of the most iconic starships in the Star Wars franchise. For fans, it is a dream come true to build one. But since Han Solo is dead, the starship is back to its first owner, Lando Calrissian. In the latest Lego Millennium Falcon, it now comes with Finn, Chewbacca, Calrissian, Boolio, C-3PO, R2-D2, and D-O Lego figures.

Lego also offers Kylo Ren’s shuttle and other kits from “The Rise of Skywalker” A-wing and Y-wing Starfighters and an AT-ST Raider from the “Mandalorian” Disney+ series.
